Why see The Linda Lindas?
Growing up with The Linda Lindas
Los Angeles all-girl pop punk band The Linda Lindas are heading out on tour this November. The quartet, whose stage names are Linda Linda No.1, 2, 3, and 4 may be teenagers but their music reaches levels unexpected of a group of girls (mostly) still in high school. Their breakout hit, Racist Sexist Boy went viral over social media and was nominated Best Song at the Kerrang! Awards. With famous fans such as Tom Morello, Kathleen Hanna and Flea, you'd kick yourself if you missed The Linda Lindas!
Social media may be responsible for many things, and The Linda Lindas are one of them. Starting off as a one off performance that was orchestrated by their parents for a music festival, the band hit it off and were soon performing with Bikini Kill and playing on the soundtrack for Amy Poehler's movie, Moxie. They recently supported Paramore on their summer tour, and have performed live on Jimmy Kimmel and at Coachella.
