What is the story?

At the grand old age of 27, Anne Elliot is the black sheep of her well-to-do family, overlooked by her vain father and sisters. Having turned her back on her only chance a love some years previously, she is shocked to find herself once again in the company of her former flame - Frederick Wentworth, who has now risen to Captain in the Navy. Their shared past roils beneath them as they meet again in new circumstances. Will either say anything before it's too late? Watch on to find out.
