New Favorite Group
Accidentally came across one of their videos a few months ago and was instantly hooked on their music. Glad we saw them on one of their stops during their 2025 tour.
Amazing
These guys popped up in my utube feed, I watched for a minute and was blown away. I I binged for 2 days- I thought if they come within 100 miles from me I’m there! Bought tickets in April for a November concert. Awesome show! The meet& greet was the icing on the cake.
Leonid and friends
What an amazing performance! The sound was perfectly mixed at our seats. Every performer was at the top of their game. The horns were a wonderful wall of sound, with the sax player so enthusiastically charging up the crowd. All four singers sounded great even after 40 or so shows. Ksenia blew us away with her vocal range and stage presence. Just a thoroughly entertaining night!
Stellar. Not perfect
Second time seeing the group and they were still good, but not as good. The sound system had some problems and they miss the original lead singer who is a Peter Cetera clone vocally. All that the show was still good. Accomplished musicians top to bottom and the vocals were fairly solid. Worth seeing.
Good but not great.
Overall, the show was good. Stage presence and the energy displayed was very good. Music selection was good, but don't mention a Carpenters song at the introduction if you are not going to perform one. Loved the horns! Unfortunately, the voices were drowned out, and it was very hard to hear the words to most of the pieces. This was because the keyboard and drums (especially the bass drum) were too loud. They overpowered the singers. I was hoping there would be a string section at this performance, but there was not. I listen to Leonid and Friends on You Tube quite often. Hearing them live left a bit to be desired.
disappointed
I had seen some videos of them and was very impressed however after purchasing the tickets and driving two hours to see them at Ruth Eckerd Hall on April 9th I was disappointed in their performance. I would have fired the sound guy. The bass guitar was overwhelming and although he was playing many notes you could only hear a deep rumble. They finally turned him down and you could barely hear the bass. Could have been a problem with the pickups on the guitar, don't know. Some of the mics were not balanced very well. And frankly, the endless talking was a little "cheesy". At times the band and harmonies sounded great, but not good enough to ever see them again. On a positive note the brass and lead guitar did a great job and some of the vocals were excellent but in summary I would call it a very average performance.
